LOWER HUTT TENNIS CLUB
The second round of inter-club matches is to be played on Saturday next. Members of teams are reminded that games commence at 1.30 p.m. Club Handicaps. The time limit for the first rounds in all events expires on November 19th. All not played by that date will be cancelled. The following are the results of games played to date: D. P. Smith defeated N. Macfarlane, 40—36; W. O'Shaughnessy defeated J. B. Wilson, 40 38; J. B. Butchers defeated J. Butt, 40—38; A.R. Tilbury defeated J- Kennedy, 40 36; C. McCormack defeated L. O. Evans, 40—36; G. M. Stratmore defeated L. Abraham, 40—27; Miss M. Mitchinson defeated Miss J. Devlin, 40—33; Miss M. Campbell defeated Mrs. Howe, 40—39; Miss D. Longton defeated Miss J. Butchers, 40 7; Wiggins and Miss Cameron defeated Evans and Miss Mouat, 40 32; Rose and Mrs. Stratmore defeated Wilson and Miss Green, 40—38; Stratmore and Miss P. Campbell defeated Kennedy and Mrs. Kennedy.
Members would greatly assist the committee if they would arrange playing times with their opponents.
The rebate on subscriptions is allowed only on those paid on or before December Ist, 1939.
