Y.M.C.A. STREET DAY
The Hutt Valley Y.MC..A. which is rendering lor the boys and young men such a 'great community service deserving the loyal assistance of every citizen, is holding a public stall day this coming Friday. Ladies will have stalls outside King George Theatre, Lower Hutt, and Grand Theatre, Petone, and everyone is asked to buy and give freely in a good cause. A feature of the street day will be the absence of all pressure on the public to give and there will be no collecting boxes. There is- therefore the more need for the interested public to see that, their voluntary contributions in cash or goods are 'handed in to the stalls. If those with goods will rings the Hutt Valley Y.JVI.C.A. goods will be called for. The work of'the Y.M.C.A. 'because of its community value has the strong endorsement of the Government and it would be a calamity if for lack of funds the local branch had to curtail its services Donations addressed to the iSecretary, Y.M.C.A. Cuba Street, Petone, will be gladly acknowledged.
