FALSE ALARMS
CULPRIT CAUGHT
For same months past the Lower Hutt Fire Brigade had been considerably annoyed iby a number of false alarms in the borough. It is gratifying to learn that as the 'result of a close watch being kept the culprit was caught red-handed on Monday afternoon and will be properly dealt with. It may not be generally realized that to call a fire brigade out without good reason is a very serious offence in the eyes of the law as it not only pntails expense but may endanger life and property.
