G.U.0.0.F. Lodge
The quarterly me'eting of the "Star of Lower Hutt" Lodge was held in the United Hall, Birch Street, on July 24, 1936. The meeting was opened by Sis. K. Reid, N.G., supervised by-Bro. R. L. Gray, P.NjG. and assisted by the various officers. There was a very large attendance, the lady memibers being well to the fore. One new member was initiated to this popular lodge. Br. Patton, F.S., intimated no sick pay was required. It was decided that this branch enter the Ritual Competition to be held on the 24th August, so members are requested to study their ritual. It was decided to celebrate this branch's birthday which falls due next month, arrangements being left over to the next irueung. Bro. Gray reported that he would deliver the lecture degrees at 7.30 p.m. at the next meeting. Bro. 11. Bolton reported that he would soon be ready to give the next concert, which is always looked forward to by members and their friends.
