PATRONAL FESTIVAL. A nuwt I'lijoyable parish .social was held in St. J nines\s Hull last Wednesday evening in honour of.' the parish's I'atronal Festival and the Jit'ty-iii'th anni\ ersarv ot' the church. A. capable ladies' committee consisting of Mcsilaijies Jnrman, Hedge, Ash, Livings! urn, i-\ J\J, llobbs and Miss llolcoiube, assisted the Vestry with the arrangements ami .Mr, Hedge carried out the duties uf AI.C. The guests were received by the \ icar and Mrs. 11. E, Iv, l''jy, and the Kev. J. li. Neild. Alter community singing, conducted by Mr. Kenipthorne, sungs we're rendered by Mrs. Ash, Miss June Wilson, and Mr. Corbctl, Miss A*. I'arsons playing the accompaniments. Recitations were .supplied by Mr. Wakel'oxd and a sketch by Mrs Legg and Miss Dorothy Milne. Ai'ler supper the Hour was cleared and the remainder' of the evening was spent in dancing and games.
