TABLE TENNIS.

HUTT VALLEY ASSOCIATION. The iirst general meeting of the recently formed Hutt Valley Table iennis Association was held on Thursday evening iu Mr. Skinner's Garage. There was a good attendance of .delegates from clubs, the proceedings were enthusiastic, and there is substantial evidence that the game has a large following in the district and that a successful season will be experienced.

A comprehensive Constitution was adopted and the following officers were elected:—President, Mr W. Jackson, vice president, Mr 11. Marshall; ho a. secretary and treasurer, Mr W. C. Da) j lion,auditor, Mr T. lv. Macfurlaue; Management Commit tee Messrs B. 1. Pegler, F. G. Skinner, W. J. Clellan'l, W. Cyan, L. Hughes, F. J. Black and D. Milne. Entries from twenty-three teams were received at the meeting and portion of the draw for the iirst round arranged as follows:—A Section: Waiwlietu A v. United; St. Eonans A v. llailway Workshops A; Wilford A v. Taita A; Lover Bros v. Belmont A; Swimming Club A . Pctoue Fire Brigade. B Section: Waiwlietu B v. St, Eonans B; liailway Workshops B Wilford B; Taita B v. Belmont BSwimming Club v. Waiwlietu C, Ei way Workshops C v. Taita C. Further entries will be received by , the secretary (Mr W T . C Day, Leithun Street, Lower Hutt) up to the l!)th iust and a supplementary draw arranged. Clubs will mutually grange the tunc and location of the matches which arc to be completed by the 31st Mav.
