KNOX LADIES' GUILD
The Guild met 'for its June meeting ■la^t Thursday, over 60 ladieis (being jpresent Mrs Wilson presided and specially welcomed Mrs Mauky, wishing hfer the happiest 'associations in 'all her VronneCfcious with the ladies of the congregation. Mrs Maeky expressed her (pleasure ut 'being present and congratulated th'o monHbers on their splendid guild. Mre Burgess delighted all with->fcwo very s^weet songs and the hostesses — Mesdame Taylor, Bueikley (2), Bryan and Warburton —ipravided a dainly afternoou tea whrch afforded the opportunity of all meeting Mna Maqky. A "Bring and Buy" Btall was presided over by Mrs Evans and Anderson and did a fbrisk trade, iniaking the afternoon not only one of -the mosft enjoyable but also profitable. It is very encouraging "to see so many.■■new meinbei*3 |t each meeting and hope was esjpreasd that they will ahrays njoy the privileges jtho Guild affords.
