Since the match against Old Boys, -when he played an. outstanding game, he has gone on improving and can now be classed' amongst the best thrccquartcrs ,in the competition. Evidently he has acquired that confidence which is necessary; for any player who hopes to reach the top of the tree. Subscriptions are still coming in slowly and we again request players to give this onlatter their prompt attention. Team Talks are now being held by the Senior team each week. There is no question .as to the va}ue of these weekly meetings, when mistakes of the previous week are brought to light and steps taken to rectify them. Their fo-riwards showed serum work, line out play and rucking ability which would do credit to many senior teams. Jones is an outstanding forward in thisteam, showing marked ability in. all branches of f onward play Other f onwards above the average were Semi, Brailey, J. Bentley and Heald. Some of the backs were inclined to lob their .passes, a danjgerous practise. Adams, C. Behtlqy, Bervin, Lines and JenMns. I/inefc, playing on the wing ran strongly but was inclined to knodk

himself aibout. When confronted by two or three opponents he would be well advised to in-pass or kick to the ceiJtre of the field. The Rugiby Union has sent out a circular appealing for referees and any old players who are willing /to help are requested to hand in their names to the Secretary.
