DANCING BREAK-UP PARTY.
A very charming break-up party was given on Saturday afternoon by the pupils of Miss Nancy Williams at her. studio, ■Lyceum Buildings.
The prognumm'e was opened by a very pretty group dance by the older chiU * dxen. This was followed by tie babies' skipping dance. Gay Adams's clever contortionist dance was much admired, as also was the Sandal Polka by BarSbara Caanpibe/11, ISTora Little, Joy Nleilsen and Joan Clark. The babies onco^ more charmed their audience by their rhythmic exetfeises. Vio Cartwogliit was very sweet in a classic dance. iAi charming operatic ballet came next andi ■this was followed^by galloping horses by tihe wee tots. Peggy Camp!b©ll7 3. spirited hornpipe was indeed good, auti t&e dance specialty by the older cniidren was very pretty and showed nnich keenness on the pait of the danseiß., JTorfe Little and Joan Clarke did" a Highland Fling very brightly. The babies polka was mos* delightful anct af tea- it Joy Neilsen and Baiibaja Oamp bell were splendid in a minuet. " Tihe "Mying. Birds, >\ "Hansel and.Gi-etel/*----and tihe "Shoemaker's Dance" deserve special mention. The skating ballet by, the. babies brought a delightful' programme to a dose.
Miss ISTaney Williams received hex gri-ests wearing, rose aaxd white patterned crepe de chene. Amongst those present were Mesdaines Williams/ Salt, CSaanpibeJll, J>oyrlaJa.d.
