.-.■-. T>he Hutt Valley Horticultural Society^ Summer (Rose) Show to be held in the King tGeorge Theatre on Weduesday 19th November, will be officially opened by Mr. W. Nash, M.P. at 2.30 pan. ';.'.. : The display will consist of roses, sweet peas, and carnations', and there will be decorative and general classes' and special exhibits. A special' juvenile section has been included in the decorative section, open to children under 16. .. A special trophy for the best collection of cut flowers in the open class has been donated by Messrs Ryder and Son, St. Alban's, England. The conditions arc specified in the ScJiediile. The President of the H.V.H.S. has donated a special trophy in the amateur class. Tiwo Meccano competitions have'been j included for boys under 10 and under 13. See page 69 of, the Schedule. I The Rose Show is fox one iday only, and the. Society invites-all residents, to exhibit and' (become interested in the affairs of the Society.The presentation of prizes will be made at 9.30 p.m on Wednesday.
