.A! most delightftd afternoon wasllxelJL recently at th« residence of Mrs. J. W. Andrews, Hinau Street. Every item was enthusiastically received, those assisting being Mrs Wilfred Andrews, Miss E.. Jones, Mrs Schmidt, Mias Spite, Mrs Lynch and Mrs., P. Dowse. * Mrs Wilfred Andrews outlined briefly the work of the Residential Nursery for which cause the afternon was given. An enjoyable afternoon tea was.then served by the hostess and friends. Tie funds of the Niorsery will benefit considerably iby. this eflfort.
