ASSOCIATION DANCE.
Keen interest centres round the Association Football Club's final dance for the season, and the yotaig folk are eagerly anticipating spending a specially enjoyable time at King George Dance Hall on Saturday night.
Plain and ( Haney Dress is to be the rule for this Wind-up function and "what aTe you going as?'? is a frequent query amongst patrons at present. Apart from the fun and jollity which the wearing of fancy dress seems to impart, there is the added attraction of perhaps winning one of the several very handsome prizes. Therefore dancers have been putting on their ' 'thinking caps and some, very novel costumes are sure to be the result.
No one cares to run dances at frequent intervals without the inducement '■of showing a satisfactory balance on the financial side; Hhis the Association :Cltdb has undoubtedly achieved, but it must also in fairness be stressed that equally paramount with financial considerations it has ever been the aim of. the Association Dance Committee to make every dance a thorough success -in the social sense. That patrons do sincerely appreciate the efforts made in t&is direction is-evidenced by the never failing support accorded these dances.
In pursuance of the. policy of * value for money every time' the Association iCommittee is, therefore, sparing no effort to ensure the social success of this last function and it is very 'dertain that until another dancing season comes round this Wind-up Dance will remain in the minds of all who attend, a very pleasant memory.
