FATALITY AT MOERA.
BOY ELECTROCUTED
Thomas David. Altanson, fourteen years of age, who lived with, his parents at 26, Mason street, Moera, was electrocuted on Saturday morning through coming in contact with a live wire atthe Whites Line ramp, near the newtheatre. :
As far as is known no One saw the accident, but it is presumed that the boy was swinging oil a "wire which leads down from the top of one pole, and is roughly tied to the next pole #, few feet above the ground. In some way this wire come in contact with a live wire, possibly as the boy swung.
A passer-by saw the boy slipping down the side of the ramp and drew the attention of the driver of a passing vehicle. The boy was "taken .to Dr. Dudley's surgery, where he died.
The place where tie accident occurxed is railway property, but from the "beaten state of the path along the side of the ramp it is evident that it is much used by the public
