WAIRARAPA SHOW
The Wairarapa Show, the big event of the year, is on Wednesday and Thursday of next week and will be right up to the high standard of recent shows. Particularly good entries have been received in all sections and competition will bo very keen for all the prizes.
The committee have gone to considerable trouble and expense in improving the show appointments and to make the ring events more attractive than ever before. A demonstration of sheep work by Mr. Fortune, of Timaru, who will work live dogs simultaneously (all recently imported from Scotland). The demonstration includes the driving in and out between four dogs lying on the ground. This is the first time this demonstration has been given in New; Zealand. It was one of the biggest at-1 tractions in Australia last year. This! demonstration is timed to start at, 11.30'a.m. Another special attraction will bo, the jumping exhibition by four riders (Two ladies and two gentlemen) jump-] ing first separately, then in pairs, and| finally all four abreast. There are also many other new features.
