Tlio death occurred on Monday at Palmerston Xortli of Mr. Richard Hagan, for many years a highly-re-spected resident of To Ho to. Tlie deceased, who was in his Soth year, was for some considerable time in the employ of the Horowhonua County Council and was highly esteemed.
