CANT TELL HUSBAND FROM TWIN BROTHER.
TRENCH WIFE’S PATHETIC POSITION (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) Received Tuesday, 1 a.m. PARIS, July 11. The divorce judges at Nancy are pondering over a novel petition by the wife of one of twin brothers, proprietors of a shop over which the trio reside. She pleads that the brothers are indistinguishable and she often finds herself endearing or chiding the bachelor brother whose lady friend makes the same mistake towards the woman’s husband. The wife declaring that seeing double has made her dizzy left home. The judges are perplexed as to whether that constitutes a “grave injury’’ which is the only ground whereon a divorce can be allowed. The problem is more implicated by the brothers’ refujJPWmreak their lifelong companionship.
