TO OBSERVE ECLIPSE.
AMERICAN SCIENTISTS. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) SAN FEANCISCO, March 15. The scientists who will observe the forthcoming eclipse of the sun are to sail by the Mariposa on April 27 for Honolulu, and thence will go to ILndergury Island, in the Phoenix group, on hoard the cutter Avecet.
Dr. Samuel A. Mitchell, director ot McCormick Observatory, University of Virginia, will direct the expedition.
