GRAVE ERROR IN DELAYING SELECTION. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-uopynght) Received Thursday, 9.30 p.ra. LONDON, Sept. 3. Mr. “Plum” Warner says the selectors are not choosing a vice-captain for the M.C.C. touring team but are leaving it to Allen to select his own deputy who, the-Daily Sketch says, obviously will be Wyatt or Robi-s. The Sketch expresses the opinion that the M.C.C. has made a grave error in not settling such an important point before the departure of the team.
