VENTING DISPLEASURE.
MILK SUPPLIERS DEMONSTRATION. POLICE INTERVENTION NECESSARY. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) WHANGAREI, This Day. The local milk suppliers with one exception have decided to discontinuethe afternoon delivery. To vent displeasure on the other man all vendors in vehicles bearing placards pursued him as he went his rounds. The procession stopped when the man was delivering his milk and played toy bugles, squeakers, etc. They then followed him to the next customer and so on till the round was finished. A large crowd of people congregated in anticipation of further entertainment, but the police put in an appearance and stopped the demonstration and took the names of eight milkmen.
