AUCKLAND’S MODEST DEMAND
(By Telegraph—L-rer-s Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night.
As far as Auckland is concerned the local Trades and Labour Council has decided to recommend that the basic wage should be iis 0s (id per week. The Trades and Labour Federation in Wellington will be as*ked to submit this assessment to the Arbitration Court in the near future when the matter is made the subject of a special sitting.
