PROFESSIONAL ROAD RACE.
LEVIN TO PALMERSTON NORTH. Taking opportunity of the holiday, the County Cash Cycle Club, of Palmerston North, is organising a road race on King’s Birthday, June 23rd, from Levin to Palmerston North. The first riders will be started at Levin at 2 p.m. and the course is through Shannon and Linton to the northern city. Considerable interest is being taken in the fixture and the prize money is £3 for first, £1 for second, IDs for third, with £1 and a blue sash for fastest time.
