FARMER GAOLED FOR UNDERFEEDING SHEEP

In the Supremo Court to-day Charles Munro Smith, a farmer, of Lincoln, was found guilty of failing to supply proper and sufficient food to sheep on his property at Beautiful Valley and was sentenced to one month’s hard labour. Ernest Ackerman Smith was found not guilty on a similar charge.
