The Director-General of the Post and Telegraph Department states that it was'announced a few days ago that, the launch Tiafua, which was lost between Apia and Pago Pago, has been washed up on the beach on the Island of Tuasivi. From advice received from the postmaster at Apia, it would appear that portion of Hie mail carried by the vessel has been recovered, but full particulars are not yet available in New Zealand.
