CRICKET.

LEVIN AND WERAROA DRAW. A further draw was the result of the match, between Levin and Weraroa on the Weraroa Domain on Saturday, after a somewhat exciting finish. Levin had first use of the wicket and batted for three hours to compile the total of 1 89 runs, when the innings was declared closed for the loss of six wickets. F. Baumber came to light with a particularly meritorious 7S runs, and the total was further swelled by C. Bell, 2M (retired), K. Hudson 22, H. Baumber 10, R. Bell 12 and W. Walker 12 not out. (4. France was Weraroa'? most successful bowler with five wickets for 77 runs. Weraroa were left with little time to reach Levin 's total, but made a wil- j ling attempt and at the call of time had accumulated 1(54 runs for the loss of six wickets. To this total R. Cram-j ond contributed (50, P. Crisp 44. H. Bull 2M. ~SL Sutherland 11 and W. McLaren 10 not out. The Weraroa batsmen were eager for the runs, and thus wickets fell freely. Bowling for Levin C.
