FIRMER PRICES AT SYDNEY WOOL SALES.

At the wool sales under spirited competition principally from Yorkshire, the Continent and Japan values were firm compared with the close of (!><• precluding Sydney sales. Tit the ease of best faece and skirtings prices were from par to 5 per cent, higher. Greasy Merino made 2":} pence. The offerings totalled .10.670 bales, of -which 10,187 ■were sold, also 655 privately.
