HEALTH STAMP CAMPAIGN.

FURTHER ADVANCE IN RECEIPTS PRELIMINARY DISTRIBUTION MADE. (By Telegraph —.Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Though the progress of the Health Stamp 'Campaign must have been retarded by another large scale National activity, the Director General of the Post Office, Mr G, McNamara, announces a further advance of over £6OO in the total, which lias now reached £6319 15s sd.

The net receipts from the various postal districts stand at the following points: Wellington, £1199 3s 2s; Auckland, £661 12s; Napier, £524 9s sd; Palmerston North £492 9s; Invercargill, £431 4s 4d; Dunedin, £-428 10s 4d; New Plymouth, £404 13s Id; Christchurch, £396 9s lOd; Hamilton, £306 7s lid; Gisjborne, £232 16 S lid; Wanganui, £224 11s lOd; Timaru, £164 15s 2d; Thames, £l3l 18s 9d; Blenheim, £l3l 13s 9d; Oamaru, £llß 19s 2d; Greymouth, £IOB 16s 7d; Nelson, £sl 12s 4d; Westport, £9 11s 9d. The total of £6319 15s sd, comprises: Health stamps, £3076 7s 4d; sale of envelopes, £259 10s, 7d; and donations, £2983 17s 6d. All funds collected bo gaek into the districts from which they originate, and a preliminary distribution has enabled recognized organisations to receive cheques as follows; —Waikato Children’s Camp League, £162 16s lOd; Wellington Health Camp Association, £706 13s; Wanganui Health Camp Trustees, £127 ss; Oamaru Children’s Welfare, £llO 6s 3d; Thames Children’s Health Camp, £lB Is sd; Southland Children’s Health Camp (Invercargill), £l7l 7s 8d; North Taranaki Health Camp (New Plymouth), £lO5 2s; South Canterbury Health Camp (Timaru), £10(6 13s 4d; Dunedin Central Mission, £ll7 7s lOd; Sunlight League (Christchurch), £163 8s 8d; Nelson Health Camp Association, £32 13s 6d; Hawera Health Camp Association, £ll7 9s lid; Dannevirke Rotary Club, £B2 19s 7d; Otago Health Camp Association, £ll7 7s lid.
