RECORD SEA TRIP.
WELLINGTON TO AUCKLAND*. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND. Last Night. A record passage- from Wellington to Auckland was made by the .Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's, new motor ship Wairangi which arrived this morniiig. She travelled the distance of 537 miles from Wellington heads to Bang'itoto beach in the fast time of one day S| hours at an average speed of 16.05 knots. The Wairangi is one of the fastest vessels trading to New Zealand.
