GERMANY UNDER HITLER.
"MILITARISTIC NOTE IN EVERYTHING"
"Uerr Hitler has done a great de.nl for the poor of Germany, but he has levelled ethers as well. German women have no status now and sweep the streets in some villages, -nit Germans look very happy and healthy." These are some impressions of 'Miss Jessie lJr<juharf, Sydney authoress, who arrived home recently from an eighteen months' visit to Britain and the Continent.
.Miss Urrjuhart was impressed by the struggle Germany is making to rebuild herself as a nation, but was also struck by the militaristic note in everything. - There appeared to b 0 a great levelling of all classes, and to-day there was scarcely any leisure class left. Young men and women in their teens are amazingly healthy, she said.
