Doctor Redmond Prendiville, 8.A., is the successor to Dr. Clune, whose death occurred on :Saturday. Dr. Prendiville is 35 years of age and is probably the youngest lloman Catholic archbishop in the -world. The Most Rev. Patrick Joseph Clune, 'Archbishop of Perth, whose death occurred on Saturday, was born in Ireland in 1864, and educated at Dublin. . He was ordained priest in 1886 and was afccular priest of the Goulburn diocese •I'iom 1886 to 1893.
