Manchoukuoan Oil Monopoly
UNITED STATES REITERATES PROTEST (By Telegraph-Press Assn. —Copyright). Received Friday, 7 p.m. WASHINGTON, April 18. The United States has sent a Note to the Japanese Government reiterating its protest against the Manchonkuoau oil monopoly as violating existing treaty provisions and being in conflict with the open-door policy in the Far East.
The Note was based upon the view that the setting up of an oil monopoly might be extended to other products.
