BLOOD TEST ADVISED.
I MAGISTRATE'S SUGGESTION. [ ! (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Nov. 30. When a woman aged 24 applied for an affiliation order against an elderly man to-day, his counsel alleged that the woman's child was half-Chinese. Counsel asked the woman if she was prepared to have the child undergo a blood test. She replied in the negative. The Magistrate, after seeing the child, said that it would be better to have a blood test. The mother would bo entitled to have a doctor present, and there should be three doctors altogether. The hearing was adjourned.
