PERSONAL.
Mr, T. Overton, a former engineer to the Horovvhemia Electric Power Board and now with the South Tarana'ki Board, passed through Levin yesterday. iMr, W. A. Sharp, of Opunake, was a visitor to Levin daring' the week-end. He left for Wellington this morning to attend the Power Boards' Conference. Mr. K. Aibken, of Queen Street, Levin, has taken up a position with his brother, Mr. X. Aitkcn, of Wellington. He commenced his new duties this ■morning. Mr, (,l. A. Monk, chairman of the Horowiienua County Council and a member of the Palmerston Nor-ih Hospital Board, has been appointed a member of the Board ,of Health, Mrs. W. A. Sharp, of Opunake, and formerly of Levin, is an inmate of the New Plymouth hospital, where she underwent an operation for septic tonsils. She is now well on the way to recovery.
