Record Fog Holds Up English Shipping
ONE BOAT 36 HOURS LATE Received Friday, 8.40 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 22 The hold-up through the record fog included the Homeric, with '6OO Christmas cruise passengers, the Majestic, and the cross-Channel steamer Isle of Thanet, which were six hours late in finding Boulogne harbour. The Hob son's Bay was 36 hours late, crawling into Southampton to pick up 275 passengers who had been waiting since Wednesday morning. She will not sail for Australia before night if the fog lifts.
