Sev.en members of the M.C.C., including Lord Suftield and Sir Home Gordon, in a joint letter, support the Times’ cricketing writer’s criticism of the deadly dull leg theory tactics at the Oxford-Cambridgc match. They add: “We regret that the tactics seem to savour of those employed in the Australian Tests, which destroy the whole charm, spirit and enjoyment of the game. ’’
