NO RELAXATION.
FARMERS OBJECT TO LIFTING OF STOCK EMBARGO. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. Definite opposition to any suggestion that the embargo on the importation of stock should be lifted was made by the Farmers’ Union Conference and the following Auckland remit was carried unanimously: “That the maintenance of the embargo against the direct Importation of animals from Great Britain and other countries subject to foot and mouth disease should be strictly maintained.”
