New Zealander’s Oratorical Triumph
MR. FRANK MILNER AT BOSTON HAMILTON, Last Night. An oratorical triumph was scored by Mr. Frank Milner, principal of Waitaki Boys’ High School, speaking yesterday at the International Rotary Convention at Boston, U.S.A. News of Mr. Milner’s success reached Hamilton by a cablegram received by Mr. Harry Valder, New Zeala.nd District Governor, from Air. T. C. List, District GovernorElect. The cable was as follows: — ‘ ‘ Frank Alilner scored complete triumph. His address was received with unparalleled enthusiasm.” At the New Zealand Rotary Conference held in Palmerston North in March Mr. Milner created such a sensation with his address on ‘‘War Debts and Reparations” that representations were made by the New Zealand Rotarians as a result of which he was invited by Rbtary International to follow Air. Wm. de Cock Buning in the discussion on the ‘‘New World Order.”
