Noted Indian Religions Leader Passes
FIRST SERIOUS ILLNESS IN 123 YEARS CALCUTTA, May 18. One of the most famous Indian religious leaders, the Maharaj Shyamdas Punjari, died at Decca, aged 123, following an operation. He had hosts of disciples in Bengal, where he spent 80 years. This was his first serious illness.
