Invitation to Royalty To Visit Australia
NO EARLY ANSWER LIKELY LONDON, May 18. The Sun representative says that an immediate decision is unlikely ia response to Australia’s definite invitation to Royalty to visit Australia and the willingness of the vario’ns Governments to share in the cost, which makes the visit more likely. The general feeling is that the unsettled state of the world, however, precludes an early acceptance. In accordance with precedent the tour will have to be extended to other States and New Zealand, bringing the cost nearer £IOO.OOO than £30,000 as anticipated in Australia.
