FEWER BANK FAILURES.
BUT LOSSES STILL LARGE Received Friday, 7 p.m. WASHINGTON, Jan. 26. The Federal Reserve Board revealed to-day that the 1932 bank failures numbered 1453, with total deposits 730,426,000 dollars, as compared with 2998 failures with deposits of 1,691,000,000 dollars in 1931.
