Three thousand ex-serviee men arc camping in the national capital following a march from the Middle West in order to secure Congressional action for a further cash bonus to ex-soldiers which is estimated to require two billion dollar of Treasury outlay. A “bonus expeditionary forces“ of formidable proportions is moving here from various parts of the country today. A thousand veterans clashed with the police at Cleveland after an effort to secure free transportation, while 250 arrived in Chicago from the Far West. Two hundred were halted in a goods train at Blacksburg, South California, 400 passed through Baltimore and 750 started from New York.
