Found guilty with a strong recommendation to mercy for the neghgen driving of a motor car, causing the deaths of Francis Galland and Betty Both well, Reuben George Bothwcu was disqualified for all time from obtaining a motor driver’s license. The Chief Justice said that where person was subject to what counsel had termed absence of mind, as had been shown in this case, he was not fit to drive a motor car. Accused was also ordered to pay the costs and a fine of £SO.
