CRICKET.
A friendly match was played on the Weraroa Reserve yesterday between a team from the town and one from members of the Weraroa Club. Weraroa won the toss and elected to bat ftrst, the innings resulting in a score of 172 to which Watts SU, Rimmcr 27, and liallumore 25 were the principal contributors. The town team replied with 10!), Sutherland’s 30 not out and Muir’s 20 being the highest scores.
