PERSONAL.
Messrs J. Linklater, M.P., and J. A. Nash, M.P., were visitors to Napier yesterday. Mr J. W. Huggins, health inspector at Palmerston North, after being on health relief work at Napier for the ■wo weeks, has returned to Palmerston North, and will be in charge of health matters at the two refugee camps. The deatli occurred at Nelson this morning (states a Press message) of Mr G. W. Hazleton, who retired from the position of Chief Postmaster at Nelson about a year ago, after 40 years’ service. He was formerly stationed at various places, including Ashburton, Napier, Thames, Fcilding and Wanganui.
