DISTRICT CRICKET.
OTAKI v. TE HORO. Though Otaki managed to defeat To Horo on Saturday last by 75 runs, the local side had some anxious moments. The wicket was fast and bumpy, several balls flying head high. Te Horo batted first and made 49, Fiebig and Larsen reaching double figures. Rhodes made three catches at the wickets. With six wickets down for 34, runs were badly neefled by the home side and at this stage the determined hitting of A. Flutey supplied the want, 30 being added for the seventh wicket, and 56 for the ninth wicket, of which Rhodes contributed a bright 35. Scores: — Te Horo. G.
