SPEED EXCEEDS'IOO M.P.H. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright.) (RcceiA 7 ed This Day, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 17. At Montlliery, G. E. T. Eyston, driving a midget car fitted Avith a poAvcrful supercharger, reached un unprecedent speed for this type of machine, exceeding a hundred miles an hour. He averaged 102.6 m.p.h. for five miles, and 101.87 for 10 miles.
