Chinese Students of Communistic Leaning
ARRESTED AND GAOLED. Received Tiiesdav, 9.25 p.m. KOBE, Feb. Id. On October 19 and 29, three hvmdreu Chinese, mostly students at Japanese Universities, were arrested on charges of Communist activities. The examinations concluded yesterday, and thirty-two were committed for trial and meanwhile many have been deported. The charge states that tne intcntl-on was a revolution first in China and afterwards throughout the world. In connection with a Japanese Communist not charged, trie only Japan activity which is mentioned is that he had the intention to blow up the Chinese legation. "
