LEVIN STOCK SALE.

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report that, at the weekly stock sale held in the Levin yards on Tuesday, there was a very large attendance of the public. A heavy yarding of sheep came forward, while there was a good yarding of pigs and an average entry of cattle. The prices realised were well up to late rates, practically every line offered being disposed of. Following are the prices realised:— Sheep.— Black-facn lambs, medium, 5s 9d, Gs -id, Gs 8u; do., small, 4s 7d to 5s 3d; Romney lambs, small, 4s 4d, 4s Gd, ss; do. medium, Gs 7d; do. forward, 8s Gd; two-tooth owes, 13s Gd to IGs; aged ewes, 3s 9d, 4s; sound-mouth ewes, 4s 10d; four-year-ewes, Gs, Gs Gd; two-tooth wethers, forward conditions, ?s Gd, 8s Gd; Southdown ewp lambs, 10s 3d; Southdown ram lambs, 13s; Southdown ewes, four-tooth to live-year, 12s Gd. .

Cattle.—Fat cows, £4 5s to £5 ss; forward cows, £2 13s to £3 10s; threeyear Shorthorn steers £3 7s; Jersey heifers, r.w.b., £3 10s, £4 ss; weaner heifers, 255, 32s 6d: potter bulls, £1 17s (id, £2 10s to £3 7s 6d.

Pigs.—Weaners, 10s 6d, 11s, 12s 6d; slips, 12s 6d, 13s, 15s 6d; empty sows, £1 ss, £1 7s, £1 12s 6d, £2 (is; light porkers, 255, 27s 6d; meduim porkers, 335, 34s to 35s 6d.
