"Aussie.” —There are some interesting new features in the latest issue of ; "Aussie” just to hand. Foremost amongst these is a brilliantly humorous feature written and illustrated by Ken Alexander. Arrangements have been made for Mr Alexander to supply a similar feature every issue. As the humour is typical of Hew Zealand the page should lie very popular in this country, in addition to this New Zealand readers will hud special interest in the New Zealand section, which is particularly bright in the October issue. The drawings by- such clever artists as Praia and Smart are always a feature of this section. Altogether the October issue of ‘ ‘ Aussie ’ ’ is one of the brightest we have seen for a long time. "Humour,” —In these times of economic depression a paper'like "Humour” does wonderful work in helping to cheer up the community. This threepenny magazine skims the cream of witticisms from the world’s leadinghumorous papers. It is always bright and entertaining. It is also a potential money maker for readers, as there is a weekly joke competition in which cash prizes are offered.
