LIGHT CALENDAR AT GISBORNE. 4T (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE, This Day. The Supreme Court opened this morning, Mr Justice Reed congratulating the district on the small amount of crime. True bills were returned in the cases of John Lionel Baker, charged with cattle stealing, and Leslie Clyde Munrp, charged with unlawful carnal knowledge. THEFT FROM POST OFFICE. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Supreme Court criminal sessions opened this morning. Herbert Ormond Lawrence admitted the theft of £BO from the Addington Post Office on July 30, and was remanded till Friday for sentence. Judge Adams in his address to the grand jury said the postmistress was’ certainly most prompt and expeditious in her action and performance. She did a very smart piece of work.,
