At Hamilton, England scored their second lawn-Sowling win as Hills and Wright out-pointed the New Zealand pair, MeWannell and Fielding, 20 to 13. The teams tied, five all, at the seventh, and the New Zealanders went, into a four-shot lead in the next five ends. England counted three at the thirteenth, and added .two at the fourteenth, and were never headed after that. ■ In the lawn-bowling doubles, Reid and Moore (Canada) defeated Hill and Giovanette (South Afrira), 24—10.
